Plant Controller to K in Crawfordsville, IN

The Plant Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting and planning. You will be responsible for delegating work assignments and for developing the skills of other members of the accounting staff. You will work closely with plant management and will provide your finance expertise to other departments. Preferred candidates will be degreed in Accounting, Finance or related field with a minimum of 10+ year's experience in a manufacturing environment. A CPA is required and other advanced certifications or degrees such as a CMA or MBA are preferred. Candidates should be skilled directing a staff of employees and should have excellent communication skills. A very strong costing background with additional experience in forecasting and financial modeling will be required. Any experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing concepts is preferred.
